HomeAll About MeOct 8, 2007
Here is a little about me. I am the second oldest in my family of eight kids. I have five brothers and two sisters. I started taking piano lessons when I was seven years-old and continued taking lessons until I was eighteen. I also taught piano lessons for four years while I was in high school. I did many music competitions and placed in Solo and Ensemble in high school and got superior ratings at region. I love to play soccer. I played soccer from the time I was seven until I was seventeen. I played on a couple of tournament teams and I played on an indoor soccer team. My family spent many years hiking and backpacking. I like to do all sorts of activities outdoors.

In high school I was on the seminary council. I also ran track for three years and cross country for one year. This is where I met Scott. We both ran track together. Both of our groups of friends kind of merged because all of us were running track. After practice we would hang out together. Our group of friends stayed really close through high school and we still get together with our high school friends.

After high school I attended Ricks College where I earned two associate degrees in Family Science and Professional Preschool. I hope to some day have my own preschool. Scott attended Ricks for a year then he went on a mission. He served in the California, Las Angeles, Spanish speaking mission. After I earned my associates degree I transferred to Utah State University. When Scott got back from his mission he went to Utah State. After he had been home eight months we got married in the Logan Temple on February 13, 2004.

I graduated Cum Laude from Utah State University in Family & Human Development in 2005 and Scott graduated from the Engineering program in May of 2007. We now have two kids. Desiree is 2 ½ and Alex is 3 ½ months.

Scott currently works in Ogden at Williams International where they make jet engines. We live in Brigham City and I stay home with our two sweet kids. Being a mother is a lot of work, but it is worth it all! I stay busy keeping up with two kids, working around the house and making crafts, reading and studying scriptures, exercising, working with the Achievement Day girls in our ward, and playing with family and friends.

Hey Jana,

My due date was July 5, but I had Alex on June 28th at 1:55 a.m. He weighed 7 lb. 14 oz. That is awesome they are so close in age. Caden is cute!

That's funny, actually my date due was the 28th, and I had him like at 1:35 am, so I really was only a little over a day overdue. Caden weighed 8lbs and 7 oz and was 21.5". So he was a big baby. How much did Alex weigh?
